When I travel I rarely have a premeditated idea of what I’m going to photograph, and I find this leaves my mind more open to what I may stumble upon in a strange place. Now and again as I walk the streets, something captures my imagination and I want to make more of a statement about the subject.

Most of these projects I’ve been aware of as I’m shooting them, some others have been put together retrospectively as a subject becomes apparent.
