When I travel I regard myself as an outsider looking in, trying to understand and ask questions of my new environment. I thrive on the alienation. I don’t pretend or attempt to be part of the place I’m in, and I think that puts me in a good position to stand back and shoot what I find curious, but sometimes strangley familiar too. What I mean is that the more I travel, I see as many similarities as I do differences.
I’m not shooting anything inparticular, other than I’m really interested in the human environment that we’ve created for ourselves. I like to capture people interacting within their environment and I like to reflect the society and history of the place I’m in. It’s important to me to capture and reflect the mood and the feeling of the place I’m in. I am reflecting the curious details that make up this planet and the humans that inhabit it. You can read more about what I’m doing in the about section.
